It’s 2015 – we officially live in the Future, enjoying the excitement of new technology and the vast improvements in our quality of life. In this fast paced modern world, Arty by AMN sets out to remind us of our past. The meaning behind the Ajman-based gallery is to communicate a link between past and present to remind us of the more simple life our ancestors led. By connecting various bespoke furniture items with traditional symbols and values, ancient elements such as the sea and the desert are translated so as to fit into a modern world of design.
The duo, which is based in Burgundy, brings together unique design and expertise to produce pure, sensual and comforting pieces with a vast chromatic palette. Using original combinations such as light and smooth oak resin in organic forms, Binôme’s collections showcase the mineral or vegetal world, mixed with contemporary elements. Binôme is returning to Design Days Dubai with new designs created especially for the event, offering a visual of their relaxed, yet hyper-trendy style.
Do-it-all gallery Coletivo Amor de Madre develops, produces, exhibits, markets and experiments with design and art of varying scales by contemporary designers and artists from around the world. By subverting traditional productions and technologies and exploring new resources, the objective is to accumulate dynamic, conceptual works that push boundaries through the use of recycled materials. The design activities are led by social inspiration, incorporating the Brazilian legacy of craftsmanship using handmade techniques. The gallery remains progressive by employing digital advances and cutting-edge technologies and encourages Brazilian design to expand beyond national borders.
With a mission to facilitate a dialogue of design between the East and the West, Gallery ALL brings exceptional projects to the Chinese market, while promoting Chinese designers to the global platform.
