Grayson Perry and The Vanity of Small Differences
Victoria Miro welcomes a brilliant new show by Grayson Perry, The Vanity of Small Differences.
Dramas of modern British life, with a touch of Renaissance painting are featured in a series of six tapestries, exploring ‘the emotional investment we make in the things we choose to live with, wear, eat, read or drive.’
Perry’s interest in the politics of consumerism and class, comes back at his best colourful and ever playful characteristic style.
The Vanity of Small Differences is at Victoria Miro from 7 June – 11 August 2012.
Channel 4′s new three-part series, All in the Best Possible Taste with Grayson Perry starts on Tuesday 5 June at 10pm.
